Vixen GP-DX equatorial mount
Canon EOS20D that has been modified by Hutech for increased Hydrogen Alpha (red) sensitivity.
You don't need expensive equipment to take great astrophotographs or amazing handyperson skills to build the stuff yourself. I built this tracking platform while I was a student, it cost almost nothing and a power drill was about the most sophisticated tool I used. It looks a mess, but the concept is simple.
