The whole curtain was angled inwards (northwards) at the bottom, with a dramatic feeling of towering overhead/outwards at the top. Some of the bright rays changed from green at the bottom to purple/reds at the top. There were also faint pulsating waves moving up and overhead at times. Very nice! but I had to head home around 1am local time (0000UT, 02/10) when activity reduced to a curtain in the north again, and after a thin very red moon rose in the east.
